This week all the Fairmont Hotels in the Rockies open their doors to welcome back local travelers and golfers. For all golf fans, amateurs, and professionals this summer is going to have a different meaning after the Covid-19 lockdown. Playing golf in the Rockies at Fairmont properties is by far, one of the most exceptional and unique experiences to remember.
The Fairmont Chateau Whistler
If you haven’t been to British Columbia this summer yet, it could be an excellent post-quarantine gift to yourself to stay at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler to show off your skills and how great you are at playing golf. The golf course welcomes players of all levels, so do not be shy if you need a little more training. The hotel provides additional courses and assistance. If you are traveling with your family, there are many activities, hikes, and things to do in the area to have a fantastic time. For more information about 2020 golf course guidelines, click here…
The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge
My favorite place in the world! For me, Jasper has the magic of those places that you will want to visit many times and never get tired of seeing the sunset or the sunrise. Stanley Thompson designed this piece of art in1920s with 6,663 yards around the property, 18 holes, and 71-course par. JPL golf course has ranked on the top # 100 world’s most excellent golf courses for the design aligned with spectacular views of the mountains. The Fairmont Banff Springs
With this view, who does not want to play golf in the Rockies? I took this picture one morning walking around the trails, I know what you are thinking, and yes, it was freezing but utterly worth it. The place for kings and queens, even if you are not a golf player, staying at this Castle will be a vacation to remember that is for sure. In 2019 The Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course was awarded by Golf Digest Editors’ Choice Award, with the title of The Best Golf Resort in Canada. There are also many activities and places to visit around the Banff area. The town is only 15 mins walk from the hotel, so get ready to explore and have a great time in the Rockies this summer.
