Here’s a curated list of brand-new cruise ships we are most excited about.
Star of the Seas by Royal Caribbean

Scheduled for a summer 2025 debut, Star of the Seas is the second in Royal Caribbean’s Icon Class, which redefined ocean travel with the largest cruise ship in the world. Hailed as the ultimate family vacation, this ship is designed to push the boundaries of adventure, offering new waterpark thrills, pools and relaxation spots for the entire family. Expect Royal Caribbean favorites like baby and kids clubs, and new restaurants and entertainment options. If that’s not new enough, the threequel of the series, Legend of the Seas just opened bookings for its first sailings in summer 2026 from Barcelona, Spain and winter 2026 from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Allura by Oceania Cruises

Making its debut in summer 2025, Allura is named to evoke the excitement of new journeys. Luxurious accommodations features a balcony with every stateroom. The culinary-focused cruise serves upscale dining experiences in beautifully spaces such as the Grand Dining room, designed to replicate the glamorous Belle Epoque era of 19th century Paris. This 1,200-passenger ship gives guests a more luxurious and intimate experience on board, and expertly curated travel experiences at ports of call. Oceania Allura will spend the summer in the Mediterranean, North America in the fall and finally the Caribbean for the winter.

Joining the fleet in Fall 2025, Brilliant Lady continues Virgin Voyages’ offerings of adult-only cruises. The brand continues to disrupt the cruise industry, forgoing traditional elements offered by other cruise lines. Instead of buffets and a main dining room, the ship features 20 specialty dining options from Korean BBQ to all-day brunch. Inspired by superyacht design, the ship is an elevated, boutique hotel at sea with balcony hammocks, a yoga perch with ocean views and a mermaid-inspired spa. Virgin Voyages is expanding its destinations with this newest ship, with an inaugural season that includes the Panama Canal and Alaska.
Destiny by Disney Cruise Line

Setting sail in November 2025, Destiny is the latest magical addition to Disney Cruise Line’s fleet. Aptly named, the vessel’s design is inspired by the legacies of iconic heroes and villains of Disney, Pixar and Marvel. A Lion King dining experience will feature live performances and a window-lined wall transforms a sunrise to sunset during dinner. De Vil’s piano bar celebrates Cruella with a Dalmatian-spotted piano, and the Grand Hall will pay homage to Black Panther. Stage shows and an interactive waterslide will fill your whole family with wonder. What’s more, all sailings will include a stop at one or both of Disney’s two private islands in the Bahamas!
Aqua by Norwegian Cruise Line

Launching in April 2025, Norwegian Aqua is the first in the Prima Plus Class. It boasts expansive outdoor spaces with spacious day beds at the main pool deck, and the world’s first slidecoaster (think if a waterslide & a rollercoaster had a baby). An innovative sports complex with an interactive LED floor lets you play ball during the day and dance in the evening while the infinity edge pool will make you feel like you are floating in the sea. With a range of dining options, entertainment, and activities, Norwegian Aqua has it all. Aqua’s sister ship, Norwegian Luna is setting sail in March 2026, featuring hull art inspired by moonlight reflecting on the sea.
